We would like patients to be seen by the doctor with whom they are registered if at all possible. This is to ensure that the GP with whom you consult is familiar with your medical history.
Please bear in mind that Nurses now provide much of the care which used to be given by doctors.
Appointments can be made
- in person at the reception desk
- by telephone
- online using our internet booking service
- by using our automated telephone booking service
If calling in person at the surgery, please note that we are open from 08:30 to 18:30 Mon - Fri. If ringing in, please try to avoid our peak times, e.g. early morning and early afternoons, particularly after Bank Holiday weekends. Please also note that although the surgery is open, the phone lines are closed between 1-2 PM.
Both the online internet based booking service and the automated telephone booking service are both available to both book and cancel appointments (for the doctors only) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As well as being very useful when the surgery is closed, both services are worth using at peak times when the normal phone lines are very busy, such as Monday mornings, for example.
Parking
We have limited short term parking available, for use only when actually attending the surgery, or using the on-site pharmacy. Inappropriate and inconsiderate use of the car park is monitored.
